So far we haven't ventured outside of our apartment , but it's a great apartment, don't you think?! Our neighborhood looks like New York City but better. It's quiet, green, and full of hip-looking restaurants and fun clothing stores. There is so much we want to see and do in Buenos Aires, but we also have hopes of spending a good amount of time relaxing.
Wish we were there.

We just saw a Rachel Ray program last night that had Buenos Aires as the exploration destination. We were so salivating over the beef. I don't know if you could find the recommended restaurants - some seemed really reasonable. The only one I can remember was Milion (this might be misspelled) which is, in the paraphrased words of Rachel Ray, like a NY brownstone, but several stories of living room with tables and sofas. It was cool. And they have a cat named Milion as well - the house cat.
So glad to see you vacationing in a spot we just wished to visit only hours ago. It is very hip, very big city fun. We'll enjoy whatever photos you manage to take. Or you could leave the camera behind and take no pictures.
Either way, enjoy. . . and know I am praying for you to have the peace and perspective you need.
Oh, I thought the project sounded great! Wish we could come paint and tile. You never know. = )
