After my tragical hair cut today, I can really relate. The picture just doesn't do it justice. I also can't help but remember Josh's haircut from last summer (I stole your photo, Marty). As Chris would say, my hair looks like it's been "chewed on by dogs." Or rats. Whatever.This morning I had lovely long flowing locks with some split ends. As I watched twice as much hair as I asked for being hacked off and scattered on the floor this afternoon, I just thanked the Lord for a chance to learn humility. So much for my crown.
And as I would say, "Everything is ruined. I quit."

I looked carefully, and you are in the bottom picture, thankfully. It would be worse if you had a butch haircut. In all seriousness, go find someone who can cut layers, and you will feel a ton better.
Oh Hannah, I'm so sorry. If it's any condolence, you have beautiful thick hair regardless of how the ends are hacked. Plus, you look great with short hair, and if you have to get your new "layers" cut off you'll still look good.
And as my mom always tried to tell me in consolation when she would get her sister to cut my long hair off periodically when I was a child, "It will always grow back."
