Last night he told me that he thinks maybe he is experiencing some degree of culture shock. Makes sense. This is harder for him than me because of his language ability (or disability). My prayer is that as everything around us is changing, he would cling to the unseen things that don't change. Would you pray, too? More than anything, he needs the sustaining love of God, the filling presence of the Holy Spirit.
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18
Praying for the shock, stress, adjustment . . .all these things. I can totally understand about the seating and the lighting. Just changed a bunch of my bulbs to "soft white" tonight, not because the others blew out, but because the stark light was getting to me. Light is important!
Hang in there. Today, I was watching some of Jyll's footage of worship time at CIT and was actually feeling thankful for you both as you played and I was praying for you. That's God. No coincidences.
Love you guys,
Tara
