who wants a hoodie?

I knit a sweater! Who knew it could be so easy? I intentionally knit it for a 4 yr old I know and not for myself so that it would go more quickly, but I am now inspired to try grown-up sizes some time in the near future. Today was cool and crisp, but with yummy sweaters on the way, I'm a little less scared of the coming winter.

Hannah -- it's darling! Aren't you glad you ventured away from rectangles and into knit garments with shaping and even seams. Knit on! Hugs from Maine, Martha

As you are transitioning onto colder weather, we are celebrating an early ice out in the Rangeley Region this year. Rangeley Lake went out last night. Mooselookmeguntic Lake as well as Dodge, Quimby and Haley Ponds became ice-free over this past weekend. I shall enjoy sitting by the lake this afternoon, knitting on a lengthening prayer shawl.
    Wish you were here!!!
    Love, Martha

So that's what you've been doing instead of blogging! I've missed you! And I'll take a sweater for my birthday! ;) I was just thinking how much you'd like my friend Tara....she is crafty like you (and godly like you as well). Check out her blog, specifically her "projects wishlist": http://travelersrest.wordpress.com/

That sweater would look great on Molly in a year or so!
