2. Our leaders-- We've had some changes this week in the leadership team (one leaving, two coming). Pray that God would give our new leaders courage and wisdom. Pray that they would faciliate discussion well and that they would hold back from teaching or monopolizing conversation. Pray that they would give 100% (particularly in coming on time!).
3. Us-- After a crazy night last night, I'm a little exhausted and distracted. Pray that Tim and I would find rest during the day, and that we would arrive at Alpha tonight full, confident, happy, and ready to serve. Pray that God would protect us from spiritual attacks or from anything else that would "detour" us.
4. Logistics- Forming groups at the last minute (based on who's there!), set-up and sound/video equipment, food preparation and service (tamales), dealing with children.
5. Alpha Retreat- Our awesome locale for the retreat fell through yesterday, so we're looking into our alternatives. The retreat is Nov. 2, so time is of the essence! Pray that we would find a great locale as soon as possible, that God would stir people's hearts to come, and that we would have wisdom about how much to charge.
