In July, the SAM summer team (a group of college aged kids) visited Puerto Supe for a few days and helped us out in a number of ways. One was stripping the old paint off the walls in our Comunidad Cristiana meeting room and repainting. The old color scheme felt a little cold and was beginning to peel, so we were super happy for their help. We also took that opportunity to hang new (warmer) lighting, take the shutters off the windows, and remove some stuff that was just taking up space.
Having happened in July, this is definitely not news, but every time I'm in there, I remember how grateful I am for the new and improved meeting space! It's so much nicer to be in. We now have lots of light and space for 30 seats.
