Well, I guess technically it was the telephone company that was robbed last night when local hoodlums stole the cables to melt down the copper and resell. Nonetheless, the entire town has been without phone service (and in our case, internet, too) all day. Í´m writing from an internet cafe in the town next door.

Tim asked one of our friends why the robbers didn´t steal something else. After all, this kind of seems like shooting yourself in the foot. ¨What else is there to steal?¨ the friend replied. True.

Hopefully we´ll be back online tomorrow. Who knows.
