flexibility is the name of the game

First day of school and the elementary school only had one student! The Kooistras were unable to come today and so my only pupil was Nati, who is 100% Peruvian. Not your typical elementary Spanish student.

I found this news out when I showed up, and my lesson plan was immediately rendered entirely useless. Think quick. We went to the library and spent the period describing everything going on in Where's Waldo? Perhaps not riveting, but I think a pretty good Plan B on short notice.
